The number of homes on the market with pending sales decreased again this week. It was a 3.9% decrease in Canyon County and 6.5% decrease in Ada County for the week. The number of homes on the market in Canyon County increased this week by 0.7% and decreased by 1.2% in Ada County.
There is good news and bad news in this. Bad news is the number of pending sales is declining which is a preview of what solds will be doing in the next couple months. Good news is that the number of homes on the market is holding somewhat steady. I would be more concerned if the inventory was swelling so it’s good to see that it’s not.
