The number of homes on the market with pending sales decreased for the first time since December 2009. It was a 6.8% decrease in Canyon County and 0.2% decrease in Ada County for the week. The number of homes on the market in Canyon County increased this week by 1% and decreased by 0.01% in Ada County. It doesn’t surprise me to see the pending sales decrease since we are past the $8,000 tax credit now. The next couple weeks will show us whether the market will continue to improve on its own.
